Under the guidance of experienced faculty members, the students engaged in various aspects of sericulture, including mulberry plantation, silkworm egg incubation, larval feeding, and cocoon harvesting. The department’s commitment to providing a comprehensive learning experience ensured that the students gained a deep understanding of the science and the practical applications of sericulture.

The hard work and dedication of the students, coupled with the expert instruction and support from the Zoology Department, have now borne fruit. The college proudly announced the reaping of the first crop of cocoons, a significant milestone in the development of the sericulture program.
