DLIC approves 63 cases under various schemes at Kulgam

KULGAM: A District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) meeting under the aegis of Mission Youth J&K’s Mumkin, Tejaswini and Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative schemes was today held at Mini Secretariat Kulgam.

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan.

At the outset, a comprehensive review of the progress under Mission Youth Schemes was conducted.

It was reported that till date 275 cases under Mumkin, 27 cases under Tejaswini, and 45 cases under Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative have been disbursed.

The Nodal Officer (Mission Youth) presented 43 new cases under the Mumkin Scheme, 08 cases under the Tejaswini Scheme and 12 cases under the Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative. The committee members scrutinized all the files, and interviews were conducted under the Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative as per the standing norms of the Scheme.

The Committee approved all 43 cases under the Mumkin scheme, 08 cases under the Tejeswini Scheme and 12 cases under the Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative. Additionally, activity change/enhancement of loans in favour of two entrepreneurs was also approved under SEI.

Among others, the meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Chief Planning Officer, Kulgam, General Manager DIC, District Statistics & Evaluation Officer Kulgam, Lead District Manager Kulgam, Assistant Director Employment, DNO JKEDI, District Coordinator NRLM Kulgam, Career Counselling Officer & Employment Officer DE&CC Kulgam and other Officers.
