Srinagar: Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam Friday said that the crescent or new moon has been sighted and that Eid al Azha shall be celebrated on June 17.
As per the news agency Kashmir Scroll, Nasir-ul-Islam announced that the crescent for the month of Dhul Hijjah 1445 was seen today, meaning the month of Dhul Hijjah will begin from June 08, 2024 .
Therefore, he said “Eid will be celebrated on 17th of June 2024.”
