Srinagar: A man was held with ammunition in the Nagri area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday.
An official said that in a joint operation launched by Army and police in the general area of Nagri, one suspected individual — Aijaz Ahmad Parray, son of Gulam Ahmad Parray of Kunan Poshpura was apprehended. “One hand-grenade, one pistol, one magazine and four rounds of 9mm ammunition along with other incriminating material,” was recovered from his possession, police said, adding further investigation has been initiated in this regard.
