Srinagar: An unknown person jumped into Dal Lake in front of Nishat area in Srinagar on Thursday.
An official said that the rescue operation was started soon after the incident and later the body was fished out from the lake, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported.
It said the identity of the deceased person is being ascertained and further investigation has been taken up.
