Srinagar: The government has sanctioned the constitution of a panel to examine the draft operational guidelines for the Jammu and Kashmir Start-Up Policy, 2024-27.

This initiative is aimed at fostering a robust startup ecosystem and promoting entrepreneurship in the region, an official press release informed Monday.

“Sanction is hereby accorded to the constitution of a Committee of following officers for examining the draft operational guidelines of the J&K Start-Up Policy, 2024-27, in terms of the provisions as laid down in the policy issued vide Government Order No. 29-JK(IND) of 2024 dated 23.02.2024:Managing Director, J&K Trade Promotion Organization; Managing Director, J&K Entrepreneurship Development Institute; and Deputy Secretary (DP), Industries and Commerce Department,” the order reads.

The Committee shall submit its recommendations/report within a week’s time from the date of issuance of this order, it further reads.
