Srinagar: A minor girl drowned to death in Singhpora Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday.
An official said that a 13-year-old girl identified as Shabnam Jan, daughter of Ghulam Mohammad Qureshi of Singhpura has drowned in a Flood-spill Channel at Singhpura while taking a bath, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported.
He said efforts are on to retrieve her body while police have registered a case in this regard.
