Anantnag: Seeking votes for INDIA Alliance Candidate for Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha Segment, All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary & Former JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir today reiterated that the ongoing General Elections are the best opportunity to get rid of misrule, coercion and anti-people policies unleashed by the BJP while reaffirming Congress Party’s commitment to ensure Nayay (justice) to every section living in the country.

Mir was addressing a largely attended election rally at Omoh Verinag in South Kashmir where he made a passionate appeal to electorates of Anantnag-Rajouri to support INDIA Alliance Candidate Mian Altaf Ahmad Larvi whole-heartedly and ensure his victory with a thumping majority.

On this occasion, Mir slammed the fake narratives and propaganda unleashed by the NDA against INDIA Alliance and said it will not deter us from securing victory in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections, which is set to happen on June 4. There will be the next Govt of INDIA Alliance at the Centre which will ensure respite to people from BJP’s anti-people and wrong policies, he said.

Referring to the anti-minority election speeches by BJP Leaders especially by the PM himself, Mir termed such a mindset as the reflection of BJP’s desperation and defeat, which they realized after the third phase of the elections. The anti-minority outburst shall neither change the reality nor it can change the mood of the people, who are well aware of BJP’s falsehood, and communal politics and have decided to vote INDIA Alliance to power.

PM and his other colleagues attempted to create a communal atmosphere for the votes, but it was rejected by all Indians unequivocally, who want change in the country to safeguard the Constitution, which happens to the next target of NDA, Mir added and said Congress Party will fulfil all the promises made to the people and will put an end to the discrimination, hatred, open loot of public money and various other anti-people measures on the part of NDA Govt.

Stating that restoration of Statehood & democratic rights in J&K are among the top priorities of the Congress Party, Mir assured that the next INDIA Alliance Govt at the Centre will immediately fulfil these urgent demands.

Addressing the gathering Mian Altaf Ahmad Larvi said that the INDIA Alliance in the country is fighting for the rights of the people which have been under assault since the NDA assumed power at the Centre the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections has provided the public an opportunity to though it (NDA) out of power for failing them on all fronts.

He further said that the NDA Govt at the Centre snatched our democratic rights, our jobs, and land by forcibly enacting different laws after the reorganization of the full-fledged princely State. He appealed to the people to support the INDIA Alliance by ensuring his victory from the Anantnag Rajouri Lok Sabha segment with an overwhelming majority as it is the INDIA Alliance which will address all the issues concerning the Country.
