Srinagar: Three West Bengal tourists are among the five persons injured in a road mishap in Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.

An official said the accident took place near a petrol pump when two vehicles (JK01H 4183 and JK05L 6192) collided with each other, resulting in injuries to five persons including three tourists, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported.

He said that all the injured were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

A police officer said that all injured are said to be stable. He also identified two of the injured tourists as Mohammad Abdus Saboor, son of Damin Ali; and Fareeda Yasmin, both West Bengal residents.
