In a display of solidarity, these groups held a candlelight vigil in South Kashmir, emphasizing that the attack goes against the very ethos of the region’s culture. “This attack is against the very ethos of our culture,” a spokesperson stated. “We expect that the establishment will soon arrest the culprits involved in this heinous crime so that justice is done.”

The associations also urged the administration to provide the best possible medical services to the victims of the attack. “Our hearts and sympathies are with the injured and their families,” the spokesperson added.
