Srinagar: A 35-year-old man was grievously wounded in an alleged attack in the Dalgate area of Central Srinagar district on Tuesday evening.
He later succumbed to injuries.
News agency Kashmir Scroll reported that Bilal Ahmad Garoo, son of Nazir Ahmad Garoo, from Boat Colony Bemina, was hospitalized with critical injuries. However, after some time, he succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
The news agency, however, did not report who had attacked the victim, why and how. Police have taken cognizance of the incident, it said.
