Srinagar: A teacher and a minor student were injured when a branch of a Chinar tree fell on a school building in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, Thursday afternoon.
An official said the incident happened in the Government Middle School, Harduturu.
In the incident, a primary student, Hazik Fayaz, received injuries and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. He said a teacher, Mukhtar Ahmad Wani, also received minor injuries, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported.
