Bazm e Adab Gulmarg Kashmir holds monthly literary meet at Tangmarg

Tangmarg: Bazm e Adab Gulmarg Kashmir, a prominent literary forum, hosted its monthly gathering at the Greenz Hotel in Tangmarg, Kashmir.

The event, which took place on April 27th, brought together distinguished personalities and renowned writers from the region, marking a significant cultural exchange and celebration of literature.

Chaired by Mr. Hilal Kashmiri, the president of the forum, and attended by Mr. Abdul Aziz Be’tab, the meeting commenced with solemn recitations from the Quran by Abdul Salaam Hamraz and Naat by Gh Hassan Bekas. These spiritual offerings set the tone for a day of intellectual discourse and creative expression.

The agenda of the gathering included discussions on the monthly literary calendar and various organizational matters pertaining to the forum’s activities. Members engaged in constructive dialogue aimed at fostering literary growth and community engagement.

Highlighting the essence of the event was an enchanting poetry symposium, graced by esteemed poets including Hilal Ahmed, Aashiq Makhami, Abdul Rahman Bhat, Abdul Salaam Hamraz, Ghulam Hassan Baikas, Muhammad Akbar Kalaan, Shafiq Karhami, Abdul Ahad Dilbar, Abdul Aziz Be’tab, Tousif Raza, and Hilal Kashmiri himself.

The poetry recitals, masterfully coordinated by the dynamic poet Tousif Raza, mesmerized the audience, weaving a tapestry of emotions and reflections. Each poet brought forth their unique perspective, enriching the gathering with the beauty and depth of Kashmiri literature.

The event concluded on a high note, with participants expressing gratitude for the opportunity to come together and celebrate the rich literary heritage of Kashmir. As the echoes of poetry lingered in the air, the spirit of camaraderie and intellectual exchange continued to resonate, promising further endeavors in the pursuit of literary excellence.
