2 absconders arrested in Handwara
Srinagar: Police in Handwara have arrested two absconders who have been evading their arrest for the last 25 years, a police spokesperson informed Wednesday.
He said two accused persons — Jahangir Ahmad Shah, son of Sonaullah Shah of Hamlapati Rajpora, involved in case FIR no 197/1999 u/s 354,452,456, RPC of Police Station Handwara, and Mohammad Kamal Mir, son of Habibullah Mir of Nichama Zachaldara, involved in case FIR no 67/1996 u/s 04 Explosive Substances Act of Police Station Handwara, were evading their arrest for the last 25 years.
They were arrested by police and subsequently produced before the court of law.
