Two persons injured in bear attack in Anantnag

Srinagar: Two persons were injured after they were attacked by a bear in the Dooru area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.

An official said that a bear appeared in the village Chairkadi Dooru near the forest and attacked and injured two persons — Abdul Rashid, son of Mohammad Yousuf Hajam of Kapran, at present Dooru, and Bashir Ahmad Wagay, son of Ghulam Hassan Wagay, resident of Agnoo.

He said both were taken to Model Hospital Dooru where-from Hajam was later referred to Srinagar for further treatment, told news agency Kashmir Scroll reported.
