Srinagar: A CRPF man died of cardiac arrest in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.
An official said that a CRPF man identified as Muneer Ahmad Khan of C/162 Bn deployed in Handwara fell unconscious while on duty. He was later declared dead and cardiac arrest is said to be the reason for his death, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported.
Proceedings under relevant laws have been initiated in this regard.
