Srinagar: One person died while another injured after a vehicle rolled down a gorge in Ukhral Pogal Paristan area of Ramban district, officials said.
They said a car (JK14B-6105) was coming towards Paristan from Senabati when it rolled down into a gorge near Senbati in Ukhral Pogal Paristan. During the incident one person died on the spot. He was identified as Omkar Singh (39), son of Ragunath. The deceased was a PDD employee.
The injured person was identified as driver Mohammad Rafiq Gujjar, son of Mohammad Sadiq, resident of Senabati. He was rushed to PHC Ukhral for treatment.
Police have registered a case and initiated investigations.
