Ganderbal: A 19-year-old boy died in a tragic road accident on Sunday afternoon at Kurhama bypass in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
An official informed news agency Kashmir Scroll that Huzaif Shafi, son of Mohammad Shafi Ganie and a resident of Kurhama Ganderbal, died when a speeding sumo hit him at Kurhama.
He was immediately rushed to District Hospital Ganderbal, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the matter, and further investigation has been initiated.
