Arms, ammunition recovered in Kupwara forests
Srinagar: In a joint operation, security forces on Friday recovered a huge cache of arms, ammunition and other warlike stores in Gangbug forest area of Kupwara district, officials said.
They said the operation was launched jointly by BSF, Army and Jammu & Kashmir Police.
“Based on specific information of BSF, about the presence of terrorists in the area of Gangbug forest of Kupwara, a joint operation was launched in this regard, which led to the recovery of a huge cache of arms, ammunition and other warlike stores,” the defense officials said.
