Srinagar: Police in Baramulla have booked three persons under PSA for their continuous involvement in “anti-national activities”, a police spokesperson informed Monday.
The three accused persons — Mysir Majeed Malik, son of Abdul Majeed, resident of Seriwarpora Pattan; Abdul Ahad Dar, son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar of Dar Mohalla Palhallan, and Khursheed Ahmad Waza, son of Late Ghulam Ahmad of Tantraypora Palhallan have been booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority. The booked persons have been detained and subsequently lodged in District Jail Kupwara and Anantnag, police informed.
It said many cases are registered against these persons and that they were involved in subversion, and in disturbance of law and order. Despite their involvement in many FIRs they did not mend their anti-national & anti-social activities.
