ADC Sgr reviews Baisakhi arrangements at Chatti Padshahi Gurdwara

SRINAGAR: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Srinagar, Dr Khalid Hussain Malik, visited Chatti Padshahi Gurdwara in Rainawari today to review the arrangements for Baisakhi, which will be celebrated on April 13.

During his visit, the ADC conducted an on-the-spot review of the arrangements at the Gurdwara and directed concerned departments to ensure that all arrangements were put in place well in advance.

The DC instructed to ensure hassle-free traffic and parking arrangements, uninterrupted supply of electricity and drinking water, and proper sanitation. He also directed the concerned departments to immediately repair any defunct lights in and around the Gurdwara.

Furthermore, he directed for the establishment of a medical camp with a dedicated ambulance and paramedic staff at the Gurudwara during the Baisakhi festival.

The ADC also instructed to make adequate arrangements for transport facilities on the occasion to ensure that devotees face no inconvenience when travelling to Chatti Padshahi.

During the visit, the ADC held a detailed discussion with the members of the Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.

The ADC was accompanied by senior officers from the District Administration and Police.
