Srinagar: The body of a second labourer who had fallen into the river Jhelum when an old bridge collapsed in the Gingal area a few weeks before has been recovered.

Quoting official sources, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that on March 3 three laborers had fallen into the Jhelum river at Gingal when an old bridge they were dismantling collapsed.

Following the incident searches were started to locate them but after seven days only one body was recovered at Razarwani Uri from the river.

They said that today after 19 days, the body of a second labourer was recovered from the river at Mohra Uri while the body of one more laborer is still missing.
