Jammu: A delegation of Bhartiya Dalit Sahitya Akademy, J&K called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan, today.
The delegation led by Bharat Bhushan, Chairman of District Development Council Jammu, briefed the Lt Governor on the activities undertaken by the organization in the service of the society.
They also requested the Lt Governor for the installation of the statue of Shri Babu Parmanand, former Governor of Haryana and founder President of the Akademy.
The Lt Governor assured the members of the delegation of appropriate action on the issues put forth by them during the interaction.
