In his keynote address, Col Hem Chandra underscored the significance of nationalism and discipline across all sports domains, particularly adventure sports. He drew upon India’s rich cultural heritage to inspire students, encouraging them to pursue excellence while upholding values of commitment and patriotism.

This season witnessed a total enrollment of 492 students in snow skiing courses, with a notable participation of 89 local youth from Jammu and Kashmir (UT). This initiative reflects IISM’s dedication to empowering regional youth and promoting adventure sports expertise.

In a pioneering move, IISM introduced a snowboarding course this year, which garnered an enthusiastic response from enthusiasts. The course attracted 327 students for the basic level, 95 for intermediate, 50 for advanced, and 20 participants in the snowboarding module.

IISM congratulates all students for their diligence, dedication, and accomplishments throughout the season. The institute reaffirms its commitment to nurturing talent, fostering adventure sports, and instilling a culture of excellence among its students.

As the curtains draw on the current season, IISM eagerly anticipates inspiring and empowering individuals in skiing and snowboarding in the upcoming seasons.
