He remarked that the parties and their leaders have always been resorting to fake promises and emotional sloganeering for their own political and electoral gains. However, he said that now these parties and leaders stand exposed, and they no longer will be able to mislead the people.

Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari made these remarks today while addressing a public rally in the Devsar area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Addressing the occasion, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari urged people not to fall prey to the deceptive slogans of the traditional political parties and their leaders any longer. He said, “The traditional parties and their leaders have been deceiving people for more than seventy years through their fake narratives and emotional slogans. They have been doing so only to attain power and riches for themselves. Over the years and decades, these parties have misled people through deceptive slogans like ‘Raishumari,’ ‘Autonomy,’ self-rule, and so on. They successfully misled people and gained political and electoral advantages in the process.”

“Post-August 2019, these pleaders created a so-called PAGD alliance, claiming that they would fight to get the abrogation of Article 370 undone. This so-called alliance was a great deception for the people. Even these shameless people sought votes from people in the name of PAGD during the DDC elections promising that they would get Article 370 restored. Now, they have dismantled the alliance themselves, thus exposing their deception,” he added.

Apni Party leader urged people to stop the traditional parties from perpetuating further deception. He said, “As the elections are around the corner, the traditional political parties will once again approach you, this time with another set of lies and false promises. They will attempt to undermine your intelligence by resorting to falsehoods, fake promises, and emotional slogans. It is your responsibility to let them know that enough is enough. You should not fall prey to their deception once more.”

Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari appealed to people to give the Apni Party a chance to implement its pro-people agenda and policies in order to ensure the peace, prosperity, and development of Jammu and Kashmir.

“This is the first time that the Apni Party has approached you and sought your votes. I assure you that you will find this party a reliable alternative, as our politics, unlike that of traditional parties, is based on truth and honesty. We will never disappoint you. If you elect a representative from this party, I will ensure that he or she serves you properly,” he said.

He also promised a transparent governance and implementation of social justice. He said, “Today, I promise you that the Apni Party, once it receives a mandate, will ensure corruption-free governance and the implementation of social justice. In our government, if someone is found to be engaging in corruption, he or she will be promptly dismissed.”

Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said that people need to rid themselves of the traditional political parties, as they have been responsible for the miseries that people have been facing for the past several decades.

He said, “Due to the deceptive political narratives and emotional sloganeering, people in Jammu and Kashmir have suffered hugely. People fell prey to their politics and faced miseries, deaths, and destruction here over the years. Their deceptive politics led our youngsters down the path leading to graveyards and jails. Even now, many of our young people are in jail, and some are frequently being asked to present themselves at police stations. It is imperative to change this scenario for the better. Our youth deserve a bright future. I assure you that Apni Party’s agenda and policies will ensure a bright future for our young population.”
