Jammu and Kashmir has a lot of lush green uplands, one of them is Nargowari located in Chilly Pingal in Doda, Jammu. This lush green upland, with its breath-taking beauty, has etched its presence in the historical records, specifically in the revered Takri records.

Centuries ago, Nargowari was bestowed upon the fortunate souls through a lease agreement. Its enchanting vistas and tranquil surroundings make it not only a historical site but also hold immense tourism potential waiting to be explored.

The area is surrounded by quaint villages, each contributing to the cultural richness of the region. Bhatyas, Jakyas, Gondow, Budhili, Malikpura and Chanyas are the nearby villages, each with its unique charm and character. It can bring economic development to this area.
