It was Muhammad Hammad’s long throw from the near touchline was completely misread by Aizawl goalkeeper Nora Fernandes, who allowed the ball to drift past him on the boot of an onrushing Henry Kisekka.

Aizawl had the first chance, but the shot went wide. Despite some attacks, Real Kashmir took the lead in the 15th minute with Kisekka capitalizing on a goalkeeping error. Real Kashmir had another chance, hitting the post. Aizawl tried to attack before halftime but couldn’t equalize.

In the second half, Real Kashmir defended well, and Aizawl struggled to create good chances. Despite having better stats, Aizawl couldn’t score, and Real Kashmir won the match 1-0.

Aizawl has now gone seven I-League matches without a win and is in the eighth position with 21 points from 16 matches.

The Snow Leopards remain in the fourth spot on the I-League table with 30 points from 16 matches. They are just two points adrift of second and third-placed Gokulam Kerala and Sreenidi Deccan, respectively, though the latter have a match in hand.
