BARAMULLA: MSME DFO Srinagar under the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in collaboration with the District Industries Centre (DIC) Baramulla, today successfully concluded a week-long Management Development Program on Business Marketing Management.

The program aimed to enhance the capacities of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the region, focusing on the latest marketing strategies, with a special emphasis on GeM and Social Media marketing.

Saheel Alaqband, Assistant Director MSME GoI, expressed gratitude on the final day, highlighting the program’s objective to build the capacity of MSMEs in the region.

Alaqband said, during the week, participants were exposed to expert insights and knowledge from resource persons who are experts in their respective fields. The sessions covered various aspects of marketing, with a particular focus on emerging trends in GeM and Social Media marketing.

In addition to marketing strategies, the program also sheds light on other crucial areas. A session on Intellectual Property Rights was conducted by the Assistant Director MSME GoI providing participants with valuable information on safeguarding their intellectual assets.

Another insightful session was led by Shahid Abbas, CEO of GIF NIT Srinagar, on the Importance of Design for Manufacturing.

Participants (MSMEs) expressed their satisfaction with the program, commending the organizers for providing them with valuable insights and practical knowledge. Many emphasized the need for more frequent programs of this nature to keep MSMEs updated on the latest industry trends and best practices.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of MSME specifically allocated this program for the Aspirational District Baramulla, recognizing the importance of fostering growth and development in this region.
