His visit aimed to assess the quality of medical services being offered and to address any deficiencies that may exist.

During the inspection, Dr. Ayoub meticulously examined the Emergency Room (ER), Outpatient Department (OPD), wards, and Operation Theatre, stressing the importance of healthcare personnel treating patients with utmost sincerity and professionalism. He emphasized the necessity of ensuring round-the-clock availability of doctors to facilitate seamless medical care for patients.

Following the inspection, Dr. Ayoub convened a meeting of health functionaries in the chambers of MS District Hospital, Budgam. The meeting was attended by MS Dr. Iqbal, along with doctors and other staff. Dr. Ayoub commended the exemplary work done by the hospital authorities in providing top-notch healthcare to patients. However, he also highlighted the importance of enhancing skill-based training, particularly in the ER, to improve patient outcomes and save precious lives.

During the meeting, MS Dr. Iqbal apprised the CMO of the various shortcomings faced by the hospital, including staff shortages, logistical constraints, and the urgent need for an upgraded ultrasound (USG) machine.
