Srinagar: In a remarkable display of talent, 13-year-old Faheem Zahoor, hailing from Wanipora Saloora in Ganderbal and a Hill Top School Ganderbal Class 7th student, has emerged as a shining star in martial arts.

His recent triumph at the 1st All India National level competition held in Maharashtra on February 18th and 19th, 2024, where he clinched the gold medal, has showcased his exceptional skills and underscored his unwavering commitment to excellence.

Faheem’s journey to success took a significant leap forward when he participated in the All-India selection trial at the Sheri Kashmir Indoor Stadium in Srinagar on February 7th, 2024. His outstanding performance in the trials earned him a coveted spot in the national-level competition, where he once again dazzled spectators and judges alike with his prowess in martial arts, ultimately securing the top position on the podium.

Reflecting on his remarkable achievements, Faheem expressed profound gratitude to his coach, Mr. Murtaza Bhat, whose guidance and mentorship played a pivotal role in honing his skills and preparing him for the challenges ahead. Additionally, Faheem credited his parents for their unwavering support and encouragement, acknowledging their belief in his abilities as a driving force behind his success.
