Srinagar: On the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee constituted, IGP Kashmir V. K. Birdi has approved promotions of 716 Constables having their lien and seniority with Kashmir Zone to the rank of SgCts, a police spokesman informed.
He said the IGP felicitated the promoted officials/their families and expressed hope that they will strive to work hard to maintain public peace, tranquility and law & order in the Union Territory of J&K.
