Taking to micro-blogging site X, J&K Police said “This is to inform that the “Public Grievances Redressal Programme” of DGP J&K will not be held this Saturday i.e. 24th February 2024”.

The post added that “Place and venue, date and time of the next grievance redressal programme will be communicated to the general public separately”.

Notably Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir RR Swain had started weekly public meetings both in Jammu and Kashmir regions to listen to people’s grievances pertaining to the police department exclusively. Several meetings have been held so far at different districts of Jammu and Kashmir where decades-long grievances of many applicants were resolved on spot.
