Srinagar: A teenage girl jumped into the River Jhelum in Kakapora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday; she was rescued.
Quoting official sources, Kashmir Scroll reported that a 16-year-old girl tried to commit suicide by jumping into a river in the Kakapora area. However, she was rescued by the locals and rushed to Primary Health Centre (PHC), Kakapora for treatment where her condition was stated to be stable.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
