Srinagar: A 36-year-old man was killed after allegedly being attacked by his cousins following an altercation between two families in the Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, officials said on Monday.
Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Parray was allegedly attacked by his cousins during a fight between two families last evening, officials said, adding that the victim got injured and was rushed to a nearby hospital from where he was shifted to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment where he succumbed to injuries today.
They said that the accused, his cousins – Shabir Ahmad Parray, Iqbal Ahmad Parray, and Firdous Ahmad Parray — have been arrested and a case under the relevant sections of the law has been registered.
