Avalanche warning issued for 10 districts

Srinagar: J&K Disaster Management Authority (JKDMA) Sunday issued low and medium danger level avalanche warning for ten districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

“Avalanches with low danger level are likely to occur above 2500 metres over Anantnag and Kulgam districts in next 24 hours. Also avalanches with medium danger level are likely to occur above 2200 metres over Doda, Kishtwar, Poonch, Ramban, Bandipora, Baramulla, Kupwara and Ganderbal districts in next 24 hours,” JKDMA in an advisory said.
