Kulgam: A woman was among two persons injured due to electric shock in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday afternoon.
News agency Kashmir Scroll reported that a woman — Nasreena Bano, wife of Mohammad Subhan Kumar of Mondhole; and Owaise Ramzan, son of Mohammad Ramzan Dar of Spoat Devsar, received an electric shock when a live overhead conductor fell over them.
Both were immediately taken to nearby hospital from where Nasreena was referred to GMC Anantang for advanced treatment.
Police took cognizance of this incident.
