Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference received a significant boost in North Kashmir’s Lolab segment today as a prominent political activist and respected Pahari community figure, Moulvi Gafoor, along with hundreds of families and supporters from diverse political thoughts, joined the party at Dardpora Lolab.

The grand joining ceremony was graced by PC President Sajad Gani Lone, who warmly welcomed the new members and expressed satisfaction in witnessing such an outpouring of belief in the party’s vision for grassroots development and empowerment.

Lone asserted that the joining of Moulvi Gafoor and his supporters signifies the growing acceptability of the party leadership’s relentless efforts to usher in an era of change on the ground.

“The swelling public support from all the communities signifies ever-growing trust in party leadership and faith capable of bringing positive change across the region. Our message of uplifting every individual and community across J&K by providing economic opportunities and political inclusion is striking a chord. PC will do whatever it takes to usher in an era of development and dignity and safeguard the interests of the people of J&K,” he stated.

He reiterated the PC’s commitment to working tirelessly for public welfare through good governance focused on employment generation, education, healthcare, upgrading tourism and horticulture sectors and infrastructure development.

PC President also stressed on holistic development of all sections of the society through the provision of equal opportunities for all. He also emphasised the critical importance of youth empowerment and providing them with relatable platforms to showcase their inherent talents.

“The enthusiasm and ideas of our youth are invaluable assets that can drive meaningful progress in our society. We must harness their potential to address the pressing issues facing our communities, including social welfare and economic inequality,” he added.

On this occasion, Moulvi Gafoor and his associates expressed gratitude to the party leadership while pledging to continue serving the people with sincerity and work towards the party’s vision of an equitable, just society.

Additionally, the joining ceremony saw the presence of DDC Vice Chairman Kupwara and Incharge Lolab Haji Farooq, alongside State Secretary Farooq Chi Chi, Incharge Kupwara Constituency Rustam Ali Khan, Constituency Convener Lolab Tanveer Khan and Constituency Convener Trehgam Sheikh Aslam.

Moreover, PS to PC President Tasaduq Yaseen and District Youth President Mansoor Banday were also present at the occasion.
