Budgam: A youth was electrocuted to death in the Kanoora area of Khansahib in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.
Quoting an official, the news agency KNO reported that after getting the electric shock, the youth was immediately rushed to a nearby health centre where he was declared dead on arrival by doctors.
He identified the youth as Ishfaq Ahmad Bhat, son of Ghulam Ahmad Bhat of Hardasorish Khag.
An official said that they have taken cognizance of the incident, adding that the body will be handed over to the family after legal medical formalities.
