BARAMULLA: Javed Ahmad Rather, today assumed the charge of Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Uri.

With an illustrious career spanning various roles including SDM Kangan, Assistant Director Information, BDO Srinagar, BDO Ganderbal, and DMO Srinagar. Javed Ahmad brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of dedication to his new role.

Javed Ahmad was extended a warm welcome by both colleagues and the community to his new position, who have expressed confidence in his ability to lead with distinction and make a positive impact in Uri.

Javaid Ahmad wasted no time in familiarizing himself with the responsibilities of his new position. Upon assuming office, he visited all sections of the office, engaging with his subordinates and emphasizing the importance of coordination and a people-friendly approach in their work. He urged his team to adopt a people-centric approach in their interactions and endeavours.
