Srinagar: Police have seized 14 Kg contraband substance during a raid in Ganderbal, a police spokesperson informed Wednesday.
He said on specific information, police raided the house of one Gulab Ahmad Khari, son of Ghulam Hussain Khari of Syed Basti Sarfraw, and recovered 14 Kgs of crushed cannabis concealed in two nylon bags from the cowshed there. Khari himself managed to escape from the spot, police said, adding that efforts are on to arrest him while a case has been registered in this regard.
