This accolade, coupled with an award of appreciation from Zonal Education Officer, Fatehgarh, for being the best teacher in the Zone, marks a momentous achievement in Ganai’s career.

The award was presented to him by Block Development Officer (BDO) Narvaw, Naveed Javid, in the presence of Principal Higher Secondary School Audoro, Imtiyaz Ahmad, Principal Higher Secondary School, Fathegarh Dr. Shamim Ahmad Bhat, and Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Fategarh Ashiq Hussain Kar and other guests.

Ganai received accolades for his “outstanding performance in fostering a scientific temperament among students”. Additionally, he was also presented with an award from ZEO Fatehgarh for being acknowledged as the best teacher in the zone.

Pertinently, Ganai’s commitment to education and innovative teaching methodologies also earned him a spot among 350 teachers nationwide to participate in the prestigious Aspiring India National Science Teachers Workshop at the India International Science Festival (IISF) 2023, which took place from January 17–20, 2024 at DBT-THSTI-RCB Campus, Faridabad, Haryana. The IISF was organized by the Department of Science and Technology and the National Innovation Foundation, Government of India (GoI).

Besides his peers and well-wishers, the Head of the Institution Hafiza Bano and staff lauded Ganai’s approach to education and innovation, acknowledging the transformative impact he brings to the learning environment.

“After national, and international recognition in innovation, we are celebrating Reyaz Sir’s dedication for which he was awarded on Republic Day. His recent selection and participation in the NSTW workshop reflects the critical role he plays in shaping the future, aligning with the evolving landscape of education and national development goals through science, technology, and innovation,” Headmaster Hafiza Bano said.
