The participants celebrated the event with great enthusiasm and greeted each other. They also distributed sweets on this occasion and vowed to fight for safeguarding the Constitution while expressing serious concern over the misadventure to assault and undermine the constitutions by the ruling dispensation at the Centre.

JKPCC Sr.Vice President G.N.Monga who was the chief guest of the significant function termed the Republic Day an image of the Indian democratic system in which justice, equality, fraternity, freedom, brotherhood, secularism and socialism are paramount guaranteed under the Constitution, which came into being 74 years back in 1950 thereby breaking the chains of colonialism and feudalism.

He said the Constitution ensured fundamental rights, social justice, equality and political rights to every Indian citizen, which are unfortunately under attack since the BJP Govt came into power in 2014. Today the rights of citizens and the authority of democratic institutions are under attack for the lust of power on the Part of the BJP. Every right-thinking citizen of India must wake up on this 75th Republic Day to safeguard the constitution, which reflects the Idea of India, Monga added and laid strong emphasis on defeating the BJP’s endeavours to demean and overcome the Constitution aiming to encroach just rights of citizens and disempower them for the lust of power.

On this occasion, JKPCC Sr. Vice President Monga recalled the great contributions of the founding fathers of the Indian Constitution Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Babasaheb B.R.Ambedkar, Sardar Patel, Rajendra Prasad, Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad and saluted their leadership qualities and vision.

JKPCC Vice President Abdul Gani Khan, JK Mahila President Shameema Raina, PCC General Secretaries Mir Ruvais, Shameema Iqbal, Sgr DCC President Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan, Mushtaq Ahmad Bazaz, Shameema Khan, PCC Secretary Muzaffar Shah, Gh.
