Dheeraj Gupta inspected the stalls set up by various departments including health, agriculture, education, horticulture, and ICDS under Viksit Bharat Yatra to create awareness among the public about the multitude of welfare and development schemes being run by the government.

During the public darbar, various delegations and public representatives apprised the Additional Chief Secretary of their grievances and demands. Their issues pertained to R&B, Education, PDD, Health, Social Welfare and other departments regarding the development of sub-division Sopore while seeking intervention in addressing the same.

Dheeraj Gupta, while addressing the gathering, said the core purpose of holding these public darbars is to bring the administration to the people’s doorsteps and facilitate direct interaction between them, ensuring greater accessibility to the government schemes.

ACS praised the district administration for making Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra a success in the district thereby ensuring coverage of left out beneficiaries under welfare and development schemes of the government.

Furthermore, Dheeraj Gupta ensured on spot redressal of a multitude of various issues raised by the representatives through the concerned officers present in the darbar. He assured the public that the rest of the issues brought forward would be taken up with the concerned departments for resolution in a time-bound manner.

Minga Sherpa presented a brief overview of the progress achieved under major developmental projects and welfare schemes being executed by the district administration.

Later, ACS distributed Ayush cards, sanction letters, land passbooks and other certificates among the eligible beneficiaries. He also planted saplings on the lawn of the Dak Bungalow while participating in a plantation drive conducted on the occasion.
