Srinagar: Police have arrested drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered contraband substance from his possession, police spokesman informed Tuesday.
He said at a checkpoint established at Kralhar Baramulla, police intercepted and later arrested one Syed Asif Hussain, son of Syed Sabir Hussain, resident of Kamalkote Uri, after 1.5 kgs of poppy-straw-like substance was recovered from his possession. A case has been registered in this regard.
