Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Anantnag and recovered contraband substance from his possession, a police spokesman informed Monday.
He said at a checkpoint near FM Gali Anantnag, police intercepted and later arrested one Mudasir Ahmed Mir, son of Abdul Majid Mir, resident of Harpura Batangoo after 7 grams of brown sugar were recovered from his possession. A case has been registered in this regard.
