Congress holds workers’ meeting, expresses serious concern over public issues

Pulwama: The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Vice President Fayaz Ahmad Dar has expressed serious concern over the unemployment menace, and lack of development, regretting that there is a disconnect between the common citizens and the administration being witnessed visibly in J&K.

JKPCC Vice President Fayaz Ahmad Dar chaired a worker’s meeting of the Rajpora segment of Pulwama district and vowed to continue highlighting the unemployment menace, lack of development and various other issues concerning people for their resolution. Dar urged the JK Govt to take effective measures to employ educated youth of J&K failing which they (Youth) will continue to fall prey to the drug menace and mental stress. The economic crisis has also engulfed the entire J&K due to the wrong policies of the Govt.

He said since the BJP Govt assumed power at the Centre, the developmental process started by the UPA Regime in J&K has taken a back seat, the irony is that no concrete efforts are being made to address developmental issues by the BJP Govt.

Congress Party shall continue to fight for safeguarding people’s rights, which are under assault under the BJP Govt at the Centre, the JKPCC Vice President added and urged upon the J&K Govt to understand the anguish of the public ensuring that the issues concerning them are addressed.
