He exhorted upon the State Educational/Technical Boards to approach NCVET to be recognized as an Awarding Bodies for Skill Certification in Educational Institutions so that the trainees will not face any problems with respect to certification issues.

He also reviewed the status of Skill Training of Youth identified under the Back to Village Programme (B2V4) and MTMP across JKUT. He inquired about the number of people trained annually in various skill courses from various departments. He directed for Aadhaar-seeded training and placement data by the departments so that a realistic picture is put forward.

The representatives from various departments informed that they have already covered the target set under B2V4.
