On Sunday, both teams played hard and in the first half, it was nil on the score table.

Local boys Mohammad Asrar Rehber and Mohammad Inam created several scoring opportunities however Gnohere Krizo failed to convert any, despite being a reliable scorer with five goals this season.

In the 2nd half, RKFC struggled, while Delhi FC gradually found their rhythm in the match. They began generating opportunities, and the second-half inclusion of Brazilian midfielder Sergio Barboza Junior enhanced their offensive prowess.

In the 77th minute, Delhi FC seized the advantage with a meticulously executed play. It began with Bhupinder Singh launching a precise long ball from deep within his own half. Hudson Dias showcased exceptional speed, overtaking Real Kashmir’s defender Dion Menezes and capitalizing on an unusual lapse.

As RKFC’s goalkeeper Muheet Shabir advanced to intercept, Hudson exhibited remarkable awareness and control. His first touch skillfully maneuvered the ball away from the goalkeeper, allowing him to calmly finish by slotting the ball into the net.

In the last minutes of the match, RKFC players tried to play attacking football to make a comeback but failed to score any goal and eventually Delhi FC won the match 1-0.
