Srinagar: Police have booked a “notorious” drug smuggler under PIT NDPS Act in Budgam, a police spokesman informed Saturday.
He said “notorious” drug smuggler Ashfaq Rehman Khan of Sheikhpora Budgam has been booked under the PIT-NDPS Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority.
A spokesman said that many cases are registered against the said smuggler, and he has been involved in promoting drug abuse and trade by supplying drugs to local youth of district Budgam.
