Deputy Commissioner Sachin Kumar Vaishya, ADC Sandeep Seointra, Assistant Commissioner Development, Preeti Sharma besides PRI members and officials from various departments were present on the occasion.

Prime Minister Modi’s video message on the van resonated with all, urging citizens to become instruments of change.

ACS described ‘empowering the masses through knowledge and easy access to government services as a crucial ingredient for national progress and prosperity’. His words encapsulated the essence of the VBSY’s outreach to Shama Chak Panchayat, highlighting the diverse array of government programs available to enhance the lives of the common masses and foster development with community participation.

“The journey towards a developed India is paved by the collective efforts of each citizen. Let us embrace our individual roles and contribute towards building a vibrant future for our nation,” maintained ACS after administering the VBSY pledge to the participants.

A captivating Nukkad Natak performance addressing the vital issue of drug abuse set the stage for vibrant cultural presentations by enthusiastic students. The Health Department’s free medical camp, offering screening for Tuberculosis and Non-Communicable Diseases, demonstrated the Yatra’s focus on well-being. Besides, the distribution of T-shirts, caps and prizes further enthused the participants.

Line department representatives engaged with the ACS and the public, showcasing their stalls and explaining various government schemes dedicated to public welfare. Informative pamphlets, calendars and brochures equipped the public with knowledge, while their queries were readily addressed.

The event facilitated access to free healthcare services under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, while beneficiaries of different schemes also shared their positive experiences through ‘Mari Kahaani Meri Zubaani’.
